5 reasons meal preppers are upgrading their deli containers

Leftovers should be the easy win. Instead they come out of the microwave dried out and rubbery, or they sit in the back of the fridge until they get tossed. The Anydeli is the deli container chefs already swear by, rebuilt in plastic-free silicone so the food you cooked Sunday is still worth eating Thursday.

“What made me finally quit using plastic deli containers forever.”

01

Reheats moist, never rubbery

Anydeli vented lid keeps reheated food moist

Most leftovers get ruined in the reheat. Heat them with the lid off and they dry out. Move them to a bowl and you've got another dish to wash. With the Anydeli, you lift the vent tab and heat with the lid on, so the moisture stays with your food. Pasta, rice and last night's stir-fry come back the way you made them.

“The perfect food storage finally exists.”

02

The shape chefs already trust

Anydeli one, two and four cup container sizes

Walk into any restaurant kitchen and you'll find deli containers on every shelf. They're light, they stack, and one shape holds everything. We kept all of it. Three sizes (1, 2 and 4 cups) share one lid, with ml, oz and cup marks on the side so you can portion straight in.

Cook Sunday. Eat all week.

Anydeli meal prep containers stacked in a refrigerator

Cook once, portion into Anydelis and stack them in the fridge or freezer. On Thursday, it goes straight from freezer to microwave in the same container. Made from plastic-free, platinum-cured silicone, it won't crack in the cold or warp in the heat, and the whole set goes right in the dishwasher after.

Fair questions.

Is silicone just another plastic?

No — silicone isn't the same material as conventional plastic. Most plastics are petroleum-based polymers that can soften, warp, or degrade with heat. Silicone is made primarily from silicon (derived from sand), oxygen, and small amounts of carbon and hydrogen, which makes it far more heat-stable and chemically inert. The platinum-cured, LFGB-grade silicone in every Anydeli is the same class of material trusted in bakeware, baby products, and medical applications — and it doesn't break down into microplastics.

Why not just use glass?

Glass is great — we make a lot of it. Silicone fills a different role. The Anydeli offers the safety benefits people love about glass — durability, heat stability, endless reuse — with added flexibility and portability. It's lighter, won't shatter if dropped, and thrives in the freezer where glass can crack. Perfect for small portions, sauces, snacks, lunch packing, and everyday leftovers. In most kitchens, silicone and glass complement each other.

Will it collapse or feel floppy?

Anydeli is flexible, but it's designed to hold its shape. Every container has a stainless steel reinforced rim that provides structure and stability, so it stands upright on the counter, in the fridge, or in the freezer — and stacks neatly even when full. You get the durability of silicone with the structure of a traditional container.

Why does it cost more than plastic?

The Anydeli is premium reusable storage. It replaces dozens — or hundreds — of plastic containers over its lifetime, eliminates the need to transfer food for reheating, and is built for years of daily use. One container, many jobs, and a very low cost per use.

Does it stain or hold smells?

Silicone is naturally non-porous and dishwasher-safe, which helps prevent lingering odors and buildup. Strongly pigmented foods — turmeric, tomato sauce, curry, berries — may leave cosmetic staining. It's surface-level only and doesn't affect performance or safety.

  • Mild odors & stains: Make a paste of baking soda and dish soap, apply to the area, let it sit 15–30 minutes, then scrub gently and rinse — or soak in equal parts warm water and white vinegar for 30 minutes.
  • Stubborn odors: Place the empty, clean Anydeli and lid on a baking sheet in a 350°F oven for 20–30 minutes. The heat releases trapped odor compounds that washing alone can't reach.
  • Stubborn stains: For deeper staining like tomato sauce or turmeric, soak in a diluted bleach solution (1 tablespoon per cup of water) for 24 hours, then rinse thoroughly and wash as usual.
How do I care for my Anydeli?

Anydeli is built for daily use and very little fuss — a few habits keep it looking new for years.

  • Before microwaving, lift the tab on the lid to vent steam.
  • Washing: Dishwasher-safe, top or bottom rack. By hand, use a fragrance-free or plant-based detergent — conventional detergents can leave a lingering scent on silicone.
  • Drying: Store fully dry, with the lid off, to prevent odor buildup.
  • Temperature range: Freezer-safe, microwave-safe, and oven-safe to 450°F (232°C). Safe for both hot and cold foods.
