Wattage translates to how powerful the microwave is. The higher the wattage, the faster your food will cook. The lower the wattage, the longer the cook time.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (100g) nuts (walnuts, pecans, cashews, almonds)
  • ½ teaspoon vegetable oil

Preparation

  1. Combine nuts and oil in the Anyday dish and stir well. Cover with the lid (knob lifted).
  2. Cook in the microwave for 2-3 minutes. Stir and cook in the microwave for 1 minute, pausing and stirring every 15-20 seconds to ensure even toasting. Add additional time if necessary, until the nuts have a strong toasted aroma.
  3. Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container to maintain freshness.

  • Sprinkle onto soups or salads for an added crunch.
