Remember the viral baked feta pasta that took social media by storm? The original recipe takes 40-45 minutes in the oven — and that's just for the feta and tomatoes to cook! So, we decided to make a one-dish version that takes less than 15 minutes, start-to-finish, in the microwave, using the Large Deep Dish.
All of Anyday’s recipes are tested (and retested!) in many different microwave and home kitchens to make sure they work— and work well. Unless specified otherwise, all recipes should be cooked at full power.

What You’ll Need
The Large Deep Dish
Perfect for big batches of rice, one-pot meals, veggies, mashed potatoes, soups, and more.
The Anyhand Mitts
Handle hot Anyday dishes with care with these microwave mitts that double as trivets!
Ingredients
- 4 oz spaghetti, broken in half
- 1 cup water
- ½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
- 4 oz feta
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Preparation
- Break the pasta in half (sorry, Italy) and place it along with the water in the Anyday dish, ensuring the water covers the pasta completely. Gently stir the pasta in the water to prevent the noodles from sticking together as they cook.
- Stir in the cherry tomatoes, butter, garlic, and feta in the Anyday dish with the pasta and water. Cover with lid (knob lifted).
- Cook in the microwave for 13-14 minutes.
- Toss the pasta to combine the feta with the remaining starchy pasta water. (It will thicken and coat the noodles with a creamy sauce.)
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serving suggestions & tips
- Swap spaghetti for your favorite pasta shape.
- Add capers, olives, and anchovies for a puttanesca-style sauce.
- Add some basil or ready-made pesto for extra flavor.
Recipe notes
- When reheating leftovers, sprinkle 1-2 tablespoons of water into the dish to create steam and slightly loosen the sauce.
- Microwave ovens vary, even with the same wattages. Adjust cooking times as needed.
