
Cod with Peas and Carrots
Packed with nutrients, this is a great meal for all food stages. We use cod for its mild taste and abundance of vitamin B and D. Pureed with baby-friendly staples of peas and carrots, this is a meal you’ll be adding to baby’s weekly rotation.

Ingredients
- ½ cup (60g) baby carrots, halved
- 3 oz (85g) cod fillet, cut in medium chunks
- ½ cup (60g) frozen peas
- 2 tablespoons water, chicken stock, or vegetable stock
- salt, to taste
Preparation
- Add the carrots and water to the Anyday dish. Cover with the lid (knob lifted).
- Cook in the microwave for 4-5 minutes, or until carrots are almost tender when pierced with a fork.
- Add the peas and cod. Cover and cook for 3 minutes, until the cod is flaky and cooked through.
- Using an immersion blender or blender, puree until mixture is as smooth or chunky as you like. Season to taste.
Serving suggestions & tips
- Feed just as a puree on its own, or mix it with some cooked rice or other grains if you’re starting on chunky foods.
- Also great served with chunks of fish, chicken, or turkey.
- Microwave ovens vary, even with the same wattages. Adjust cooking times as needed.
