The Medium Shallow Dish

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari
  • 2 tablespoons Momofuku Chili Crunch Hot Honey
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • ¾ pounds (350g) party chicken wings
  • 1 scallion, thinly sliced
  • ½ teaspoon toasted sesame seeds

Preparation

  1. In an Anyday Shallow dish, stir together soy sauce, Chili Crunch Hot Honey, apple cider vinegar, and cornstarch.
  2. Cook uncovered for 1-2 minutes (stirring halfway through), or until sauce is slightly reduced.
  3. Add the chicken wings and stir to cover in sauce.
  4. Cover with the lid (knob lifted) and cook for 6 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked through.
  5. Top with scallions and sesame seeds to taste.

Serving suggestions & tips

  • Not into spicy? Try this recipe with local honey instead!
  • Try with lime juice instead of apple cider vinegar.
  • Serve with steamed white rice and a fresh cucumber salad for a complete dinner.

  • If Momofuku Chili Crunch Hot Honey is not available, mix equal parts honey and chili oil.
