Wattage translates to how powerful the microwave is. The higher the wattage, the faster your food will cook. The lower the wattage, the longer the cook time.

When in doubt, start with less time — you can always add more.

The Medium Deep Dish


  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons white miso
  • ¾ cup (200ml) water
  • 1 pack Momofuku Soy & Scallion Noodles
  • 1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon parmesan cheese, grated


  1. Place olive oil, butter, and miso in the Anyday and cover with the lid (knob lifted). Cook in the microwave for minutes, or until the butter is melted and the miso is lightly caramelized.
  2. Add the water, sauce packet, black pepper, and stir to combine. Add the noodles. 
  3. Cook uncovered for minutes
  4. Serve immediately with parmesan cheese. 

Serving suggestions & tips

  • Drizzle some balsamic vinegar or lemon juice at the end for a tangy touch.
  • Add sliced bok choy or small broccoli florets for extra veggies.
  • Try it with frozen peas and corn for a delicious dish.
