The Anyhand Mitts
Handle hot Anyday dishes with care with these microwave mitts that double as trivets!
Ingredients
- 8 oz (225g) party wings
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup (70g) BBQ sauce
Preparation
- Place the wings, oil, and salt in the Anyday and mix well. Cover with the lid (knob lifted). Cook in the microwave for 3 minutes, or until the wings are almost fully cooked through.
- Drain the excess liquid from the Anyday dish, then add the BBQ sauce and mix well.
- Continue cooking with the lid slightly ajar for 1-2 minutes or until the wings are fully cooked.
Serving suggestions & tips
- Add some adobo sauce from a can of chipotle peppers for a smokier result.
- Garnish with thinly sliced chives.
- Top with some blue cheese and melt slightly in the microwave.
Recipe notes
- Optional: for sticky and crispier wings, transfer the BBQ-coated wings to a baking tray for crispy wings and finish under the broiler for a few minutes.
- Microwave ovens vary, even with the same wattages. Adjust cooking times as needed.
