No deep frying or splattering oil required — save the saucy mess for eating when you prepare these party favorites in the microwave. Inspired by a favorite recipe from our founder’s family, these flavorful wings are sweet and sticky with a bit of a kick from the mustard. Best of all, save the leftover honey mustard glaze for drizzling over rice or chilled over salad.
WARNING! When working with hot honey, please take care to work safely. Do not set dishes on cool, wet surfaces as the dish may crack. Do not dip your finger to taste hot honey while still liquid. Make sure not to overcook the sugar or it can crack the dish.
All of Anyday’s recipes are tested (and retested!) in many different microwave and home kitchens to make sure they work— and work well. Unless specified otherwise, all recipes should be cooked at full power.

Pairs well with
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, diced
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
- ½ teaspoon curry powder
- chili flakes, to taste
- ½ lb (225g) party wings
Preparation
- Add all the ingredients except the chicken wings to the Anyday dish and stir together (it’s ok if the butter doesn’t mix in fully).
- Cook uncovered in the microwave for 3-4 minutes, stirring halfway through, or until sauce is slightly reduced and dark brown around the edge. IMPORTANT: Place the dish on a heatproof surface, such as wood or a towel, to prevent the dish from cracking.
- Add the chicken wings and stir to cover in sauce. Cover with the lid (knob lifted).
- Cook for 7-8 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked through. Enjoy while warm!
Suggestions
- Top with chopped parsley for a fresh touch.
- Drizzle with hot sauce for extra kick.
- Top with feta cheese for extra flavor.

- The leftover honey mustard sauce is liquid gold! Eat it over steamed rice, use it as a dip for carrots, or add a spoonful to salad. We’ve been known to double the sauce quantity for leftovers. :)
- Microwave ovens vary, even with the same wattages. Adjust cooking times as needed.
