Oats are mild in taste and rich in vitamins and minerals, which makes them the perfect base for antioxidant-packed mix-ins like blueberries. This complete meal is ideal for introducing your baby to cooked cereals.
All of Anyday’s recipes are tested (and retested!) in many different microwave and home kitchens to make sure they work— and work well. Unless specified otherwise, all recipes should be cooked at full power.

Pairs well with
Ingredients
- ¼ cup (25g) rolled oats
- ½ cup (70g) blueberries
- ½ cup (120ml) milk or plant-based milk
Preparation
- Place all the ingredients into the Anyday dish. Cover with the lid (knob lifted).
- Cook in the microwave for 2-3 minutes, or until the liquid has been mostly absorbed and the blueberries have burst. Allow to rest for 1 minute.
- Using an immersion blender or blender, puree until the mixture is as smooth or chunky as you like. Serve warm or cold.
Suggestions
Feed just as a puree on its own, or mix it with some cooked rice or other grains if you’re starting on chunky foods.
Serve on top of yogurt or cottage cheese.
Recipe Notes
- Freeze the porridge in the Anytime Freezer Trays and freeze for up to 1 month. Reheat as needed.
- Microwave ovens vary, even with the same wattages. Adjust cooking times as needed.
