- 1 cup (90g) green beans
- 1 teaspoon water
Preparation
- Trim the dry ends of the beans, then place them in an Anyday dish and rinse thoroughly under cold tap water. Using the Anyday Strainer, strain the excess water.
- After straining, season with salt to taste, and cover with the lid (knob lifted).
- Cook in the microwave for 2-3 minutes, or until the green beans are tender.
Serving suggestions & tips
- Honey soy: Mix with honey, soy sauce, and lime juice
- Garlic chive: Mix with room temperature butter, chopped chives, and garlic powder
- Peanut: Mix with creamy peanut butter, soy sauce, and rice vinegar
- Sweet and spicy: Mix with sriracha, honey, and fish sauce
- Quick casserole: Mix with cream of mushroom soup and continue cooking until warm. Sprinkle some crispy shallots and enjoy.
- Tomato, basil, and burrata: Toss the green beans with quartered cherry tomatoes, thinly sliced basil, and a drizzle of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Place burrata on top.
- Almonds, butter, and dill: Toss the warm green beans with butter and season with freshly chopped dill and chopped toasted almonds.
